EKA started making knives in 1882, in the town of Eskilstuna, Sweden. The town has an ancient tradition of working with iron and steel that pre dates the Vikings.

The Sandvik 12c27 locking blade is 8cm long x 2.1cm deep, has a hollow grind and snaps positively in to the open and closed positions. The scales are made of bubinga hard wood tat are secured by two screw rivets.
