The Casstrom Woodsman knife is has been designed by custom knife maker Roger Harrington, from England.
A robust, full-tang knife, with a blade measuring approximately 9cm long, featuring a straight and fairly round handle with a lanyard hole (and leather lanyard), made to suit both large and small hands. It is supplied with a high quality, strong and deep pocket style leather sheath. This version is provided with a matching fire steel and modified sheath.
The blade is made of c.4mm thick Böhler K720 high carbon tool steel, making the blade extremely durable with heavy use such as log-splitting. The knife has a Scandinavian grind which makes it very robust and at the same time easy to carve wood with and easy to sharpen using a flat whetstone or diamond sharpener.
About the steel : Bohler K720
Böhler Tool Steel K720 (O2) is a formidable, oil hardened, high carbon tool steel and is designed for strength and edge stability and is easy to sharpen to a razor edge. Wipe after use and protect by oil or wax when put away for storage to avoid tarnish build up. (HRC 58-60)
Consider enhancing the way your knife hangs from your belt with the addition of a matching dangler.

The blade chipped on cutting up a cabbage plant but I did manage to polish it out nice looking knife but needs to do the job
Hi Mcfarland. Is it possible that a chip was present before use, or that the blade struck something hard whilst cutting? Whilst anything is possible I think it may be difficult for an O2 oil hardened carbon steel blade to chip on a cabbage?
