This striking version of the Casström No.10 Forest Knife is a ruggedly built, full tang, fixed blade knife, ideal as a bushcraft knife, for hunting or general survival activities.
This version features a 3.8mm thick, satin finish blade which is 10cm/4" long and made from Swedish 14c28n stainless knife steel and heat treated to achieve a hardness of 57-59 HRC.
Solid, fully stabilised curly birch handle scales really make this knife stand out. The stabilising process makes them impregnable to bacteria and moisture and strengthens them against movement and cracking and makes them suitable for a wide range of environments and climates.
The thick (vegetable tanned) leather sheath features a wide belt loop and a drip hole to avoid moisture collection. Consider enhancing the way the knife hangs by adding a matching dangler.
This is an incredible knife that feels great in the hand.

This knife proved to be even better than expected from the website information. I have used this knife on a few occasions now and it performed very well. The handle is shaped beautifully and fits the hand perfectly. The blade has retained the edge very well and there is no need for sharpening or stropping yet. Mark is very knowledgeable about the knives and I am very happy with the knife he recommended.
