Frost River Isle Royale Jr Bushcraft Pack

Frost River

732

The legendary Frost River Isle Royale Jr bushcraft pack (732) is made from waxed canvas, buckskin, bridle leather and solid brass fittings. This is the mid sized pack in the range.

These traditional style packs have been used around the world for generations, by people who depend on them. A split seam, a torn pack or a broken strap can have damming consequences when you're miles from civilisation. That's why Frost River packs and bags are engineered to meet the demands of your every adventure and are guaranteed to last a lifetime.

A handcrafted, waxed canvas pack has a unique quality that is missing from other packs made from modern, synthetic materials. More and more people are turning away from synthetic's and embracing traditional materials that have stood the test of time. It’s built to be used in the forests, on the rivers, up the mountain or wherever your adventure takes you.

There is an inherent value and a sense of camaraderie between an outdoor traveler, a trusted pack, and the road, the stream, the journey…

Dream Pack !

It was like going back in time when the backpack arrived, so many fond memories of my time growing up in the great outdoors & the wilds of Wales. Not too disimilar to my first backpack handed down to me by my grandfather who was an amazing woodsman and explorer. The pack is old school , beautifully hand made and a joy to behold something I will cherish and hand down to my own children. The delivery was fast and the company a joy to deal with, so refreshing to find a such service there days. Well done guys 10/10 HIGHLY recommended

Is it worth the money?

In short... Yes! I've spent more time than I should of researching this pack, everyone banging on about the quality, brass this, life time lasting that. None of that actually compares to physically holding this pack, the smell, the weight and care put into its construction. It's a beautiful pack! worth every penny. I highly recommend purchasing the waist belt & bedroll straps (same Quality as the pack) to complete the look and functionality. Understanding service from NaturalMan ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

High Expectations

I haven't yet used the bag in the bush as it is a Christmas present yet to be received. However, on first inspection, the bag looks good and exceptionally well-made. It smells really nice too! I would say it is more of a faded olive colour than the brownish colour in the pictures. I actually before the greener colour but just be aware. It comes with a tin of proofer but no instructions on how to use it which would have been helpful. The main straps are super soft and comfy, and I'm pleased with the volume. I um'd and ar'd between the junior and the large back but I'm glad I went with the junior, plenty of room for overnight trips without being too big for day trips. Looking forward to introducing it to the great outdoors where I think a bit of usage will only add to its look. It's a good job it lasts a life-time as I may be living out of it when my wife finds out how much I've spent on it!
