The legendary Frost River Isle Royale Jr bushcraft pack (732) is made from waxed canvas, buckskin, bridle leather and solid brass fittings. This is the mid sized pack in the range.

These traditional style packs have been used around the world for generations, by people who depend on them. A split seam, a torn pack or a broken strap can have damming consequences when you're miles from civilisation. That's why Frost River packs and bags are engineered to meet the demands of your every adventure and are guaranteed to last a lifetime.

A handcrafted, waxed canvas pack has a unique quality that is missing from other packs made from modern, synthetic materials. More and more people are turning away from synthetic's and embracing traditional materials that have stood the test of time. It’s built to be used in the forests, on the rivers, up the mountain or wherever your adventure takes you.

There is an inherent value and a sense of camaraderie between an outdoor traveler, a trusted pack, and the road, the stream, the journey…

Amazing quality pack

I’ve always used hillwalking style packs for bushcrafting and always have the worry in the back of my mind that it will rip or burn etc. With this pack the worry is gone, it would take an angle grinder to destroy this pack. Very well made top quality pack. Hefty price tag but well worth it. Excellent service and communication from Natural Man.

This item exudes quality and genuinely gives the impression that it could last a lifetime. Although expensive it is a beautiful handmade object. Service from Mark was excellent throughout.

I have been looking for a bag like this for some time and it didn’t disappoint. The quality and feel makes you see that this backpack will last you for years and years. It fits comfortably on my back and has a lot of storage. People have said that they wish it would hold its shape, but I feel if you pack it correctly this isn’t an issue. I would say that if had designed it, I would of designed it with the possibility of attaching side pouches. But I knew this before buying this bag and that is why it still gets 5 stars

An extraordinary bag

This is a truly well made item. It is aesthetically pleasing and extremely durable. I believe that in a survival or camping situation your backpack is probably the most important item (without it you can carry very little) and this bag is in the top tier of backpacks. I do a lot of hill walking and trekking but the bag is also very nice for work or even going to the shops. The bag is expensive but it honestly is well worth it. Also, good customer service from the team at Natural Man.
