The Hultafors Ågelsjön Mini hatchet is the smallest hatchet in the Hultafors premium range, suitable for hiking in the mountains or in the woods.
With its short handle and lightweight, Ågelsjön Mini Hatchet makes the perfect outdoor companion, easy to use and easy to carry. The hatchet is hand forged and made from high quality Swedish axe steel. The steel head is struck 40 - 60 times to increase density and durability to the head. This axe is named after the nearby lake, Ågelsjön, where the water needed to run the waterwheel for the forge was once taken.
This is the versatile "go to" kind of tool that you always want with you. Easily stowed in your backpack, the glove compartment of your Land Rover or, carried in your trouser cargo pocket. Treat it right and this hatchet will outlast you - your kids will fight over it when you're gone.
