Given its reasonably modest scale (for a Bowie knife), the Puma IP El Anta Bowie Knife is a versatile tool that is very usable for most outdoor activities including bushcraft, camping and field work.
The blade is made from high quality molybdenum vanadium steel that is strong, highly corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen. The attractive handle scales are fashioned from stag antler and held in place by two 5mm pins. A leather lanyard with antler tip toggle completes the look.
Design, production supervision, and quality control is performed by PUMA, the knives are made by our partner-manufacturers (Puma IP). The result is a balanced range of knives for hunting and trekking activities in the best price-performance ratio.

Ace service from Mark as ever... Thanks. I'm not usually one for reviewing, but felt compelled to do so with this knife. I love Bowies, but as a practical outdoorsman am always put off by the unrealistic size of them (Unfortunately, we don't live in the Wild West now do we?) . The El Anta gets the balance just right and, as the description says, handles bushcrafting tasks well. It's not just OK at it either, it's as good as any Scandi style bushcraft knife at curling off wafer thin feather sticks, showering sparks from a ferro rod, and battoning. Nice surprise! This is a real knife, made for hard use, and it looks damn good too. I would never have considered a Puma knife before seeing it on your site Mark, so thanks again for putting together such a great range.
