The "Waidblatt" model was developed by forester, Walter Frevert, in the middle of the last century and is one of the all-time classic hunting knives from PUMA, Solingen.
PUMA's "frevertsche waidblatt" has been an integral part of traditional hunting equipment for many decades and has retained its iconic status for its design and functionality.
The large blade has a ground bevel and is extremely stable and therefore very well suited for catching game and all manner of outdoor work.
The handle scales are made of stag antler and have fibre liners and solid nickel silver fittings.
The very high quality dark brown leather sheath is equipped with two safety straps including a snap fastener.
This is a very good quality knife that has stood the test of time and is desired by collectors worldwide.
