8213
The Red Wing 8213 Norway Moc Toe takes one of Red Wing's most recognisable boot styles and equips it for serious winter conditions.
Designed in Minnesota and originally developed for customers in Norway, the 8213 combines classic Moc Toe construction with a Scotch-grain Copper Rough & Tough leather, insulated footbed, padded lining and aggressive Vibram outsole.
The result is unmistakably Red Wing, but built from the ground up for cold, wet and unpredictable winter weather.
For the Norway Moc, Red Wing has taken its iconic Copper Rough & Tough leather and given it a Scotch-grain embossed finish.
Beyond the distinctive texture, Red Wing states that this treatment provides four times greater water resistance, making it particularly well suited to the conditions this boot was designed to face.
As with Red Wing's other Heritage leathers, it comes from the company's own S.B. Foot Tanning Company in Red Wing, Minnesota.
Inside, a foam-padded Dri-brelle canvas lining helps manage warmth and moisture, while the removable footbed is covered with felted wool for additional insulation beneath the foot.
The padded collar adds comfort and protection around the ankle, making the Norway Moc a considerably more winter-focused boot than the traditional Red Wing Moc Toe.
Underneath is a Vibram® Fire & Ice Lug outsole, developed to retain performance and provide traction in wet, cold and icy conditions.
The 8213 uses a Norwegian-style Storm Welt, adding another layer of protection between the upper and sole while retaining the substantial, repairable construction expected from Red Wing Heritage footwear.
It's built on Red Wing's No. 45 last, which provides greater volume than the No. 23 last used for boots such as the classic 875 Moc Toe.
Finished with embossed gunmetal eyelets and made in the USA, the 8213 Norway Moc is a genuine winter boot without losing the character of the Red Wing Moc Toe.

We recommend dropping half a size from your usual shoe size. For broader feet, sticking with your normal size may provide the better fit.
Red Wing Heritage boots are built from substantial leather and require a break-in period. Wear them for a few hours at a time initially, gradually increasing the duration over the first few weeks as the leather and footbed begin to conform to your feet.
